The Peoples’ Political Blog is a moderated “forum-blog” designed to provide a platform that will help to showcase and bring to light those issues that need greater in-depth discussion that is currently being allowed by our usual media sources. One a week, the editor will post an opinion on an issue that is a current political or social issue that needs discussion amongst the public and concerned citizens. Anyone may post a comment, but only registered members of The Peoples’ Political Blog may respond with a debate, or further enlightening information pertaining to that particular issue. This obviously means that the writer of that content will be showcased and is given a great deal more room to voice their thoughts and opinions. The intended purpose for the Blog is to allow for lively and intelligent debate and conversation – to “open up” an issue to the light of day as much as possible and see it from as many angles as possible. What one person misses, another might find, uncover, or understand better.
The editor will read the submitted post, and must approve the content prior to being published to The Peoples’ Political Blog. Once posted, everyone else may post comments to that Blog post, just as they do the editor’s posts. The editor reserves the right to remove posts and comments at will.
Please Note: At no time, nor under any circumstances, will the editor allow language that most adults would consider “unacceptably abusive”. This means that while some expressive language will be permitted, some will not, and – this is at the sole discretion of the editor/moderator.
Thank you for your understanding of these policies and practices. I look forward to robust, lively and thoughtful debate from everyone. Let’s have some fun and get an education in the process!
